Stobsmill Inn [Bruntons]

This small pub, built in 1866, is now the only pub in Gorebridge and is only distinguished from neighbouring houses by a large red T and two small signs. The bar is a single laminate-floored room with one part containing a long L-shaped counter lined with stools. The other has bench seating, tables and chairs and a large clock. The décor and skylight give a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Downstairs is an attractive dining area with tables and chairs and a large comfy sofa. Cocktails are served Friday and Saturday evenings 7 to 11. NOTE: Entry is restricted to those over 21, unless dining.
